Rolling with Mini Cooper: Grandma and Grandpa Adams Visit

My parents came to visit May 12 to the 18th. My dad had work out in LA, so they took it as an opportunity to come visit us in Thousand Oaks, but more importantly to see Cooper. This was their first visit out to our new place. They drove the 17 hour drive with Griffey, Tucker and Hawkeye in the car. Surprisingly, they all did very well. Tucker seemed to have the most difficulty as this was his first long road trip.
Everyone stayed with us, but Tucker and Griffey were required to stay behind a baby gate in the kitchen/ family room with the tile. This was so they didn't mess up our rental house's carpet or chase after the cats.

We didn't do much sight seeing, but we did take the dogs of walks 2x/day, we went to the pool, the dogs went to the park and got to go swimming, and ran some errands. It was a very low key trip. My mom enjoyed sitting in the backyard and reading her book and soaking up the sun. She also helped out a lot by playing with cooper, doing our laundry and reorganizing our kitchen. We do like the newly reorganized kitchen a lot more!

Cooper LOVED having the dogs around. He loved them licking his face and he loved watching them play. I can't wait to watch him grow up and play with the doggies. One day we will have to get a dog of our own. But for now, he can enjoy visiting Grandma and Grandpa Adams' house for the doggies.
