Road Trip to Great- Grandma and Grandpa Cook's House

From June 6th-9th, we took a road trip up to Tracy, CA to visit Meghan's grandparents.  AJ had meetings up in Fresno and Modesto, which are < 2 hours away from Tracy, CA, so we figured it would be a perfect opportunity to visit.

Cooper had a great time visiting his great-grandparents.  They had not seen him since December when he was less than 8 weeks old.  Cooper was very active in great-grandparents house.  He was rolling around like crazy, and continued to work on his standing and sitting.

I was worried how Cooper would nap and sleep in his pack n play.  But surprisingly he did very well.  We tried to keep him on his routine, which we found is crucial to a good night sleep for Cooper.

We didn't go anywhere except to best-buy to help great-grandpa pick out a new scanner and to in-n-out.  But we kept very busy by playing, helping great-grandpa with his computer, playing with hawkeye, watching Mr. Cat (the cat in the backyard) and playing in the front yard.  His Great-grandma also brought out some toys that I played with when i was younger. His great-grandma let him play with a barbie just to make AJ mad.  Cooper only liked the hair rubbing on his face.

Cooper did great on the road trip, and slept most of the way.  He is a great traveler in his car seat and we are very fortunate that he enjoy's car rides, because we have heard horror stories about babies hating their car seat.
